Biography
Thien-An Le (she, her, hers) is a Licensed Psychologist in Texas. Thien-An (An, for short) received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Wofford College. She continued to earn masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Central Florida. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral residency as well as an additional year of supervised experience with Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, where she furthered her experience treating anxiety disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, and difficulties with medically complex adjustment. Throughout her training, An developed a program of research and clinical work focused on the implementation of evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders across the lifespan, with an emphasis in youth populations. She has specific experience treating anxiety disorders in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, and intensive outpatient (IOP) clinics, including a predominant focus on treating OCD, social anxiety, selective mutism, and other anxiety-related disorders in addition to co-occurring Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and depression. Dr. Le is certified as a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist, is trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and co-leads our Selective Mutism Camp. She is enthusiastic to collaborate with clients and families in support of their needs and values.
